800 - Community Bus Service

Midlothian Council is operating a Community Bus Service. The 800 service will operate for a trial period from Pathhead to Penicuik.
Key locations along the route include:
Vogrie Country Park
Tesco, Dalkeith
Auchendinny
Midlothian train stations
Midlothian Community Hospital
Straiton Retail Park
During the trial the service is free as it is being delivered using some funding from the council's dividend from Lothian buses.
If it becomes a full service, fares would be in line with other Lothian bus services.
