The Midlothian Community Justice Partnership has launched its Community Justice Public Consultation 2025, and we are encouraging the public across the area to take part.
Community justice aims to support individuals who have offended to address the underlying causes of their behaviour and reintegrate into their communities. Where appropriate, this includes the use of community-based sentences such as unpaid work, addiction support, and electronic monitoring instead of custody.
The consultation is open to anyone aged 12 and over who lives, works, or studies in Midlothian. We are keen to gather views from a wide range of organisations and individuals involved in community safety, support services, education, and beyond.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and, if possible, share it with your colleagues, service users, and anyone else who may benefit from having their voice heard: Community Justice Public Consultation 2025 - Midlothian Council - Citizen Space
Your feedback will help shape future approaches to justice in Midlothian, with the shared goal of reducing reoffending and building safer communities.
