Free Community Event - Thursday 25 Sep 25

Midlothian Council have arranged a free community event on Thurs 25 Sept, from 10am to 2pm at the Lasswade Centre in Bonnyrigg. 

It’s ‘badged’ as an event to help prevent falls but there will be 20 experts from health and social care, lifestyle and wellbeing backgrounds available for chats on everything from physio issues to bladder and eyesight problems.

There will also be lots of fun demonstrations and ‘tests’ you can take, if anyone wants to test their grip strength, have their blood pressure taken etc. It’s open to everyone, free and there will be cake.

Hoping it will be bit of a social occasion for people too. There will be lots of reminders going out on Midlothian Council’s Facebook and Midlothian Health and Social Care’s Facebook accounts, as well as X, Threads and LinkedIn. I’ve also attached a social media graphic but any ‘shares’ would be such a help.
